At Allweld Manufacturing, safety isn’t an add‑on, it’s built into the way we work, the way we train, and every build that leaves our shed. We’re committed to keeping our team, our visitors, and our customers safe, every day.
Our safety culture
Here at Allweld Manufacturing, we prioritise the safety of our team, our visitors, and every build that leaves our shed. Safety comes first on the workshop floor and in our office, from inductions and training to day‑to‑day decisions about how work gets done.
We take great care to ensure each build is as safe as we can possibly make it, and that starts with our own PPE. Every team member receives PPE training before they set foot in the shed, so they understand how to protect themselves and those around them. We’re proud of our safety culture at Allweld, it’s not just about our safety, it’s about yours as well.
How we manage safety day‑to‑day
As our operations have grown, we’ve invested in structured systems and dedicated roles to support workplace health and safety. Our WHS Officer works closely with our leadership team and people on the tools to keep safety front and centre.
Day to day, looks like:
Our WHS Officer role is hands‑on and based on site in Maryborough, it’s about building trust on the floor, not just managing paperwork. They support our managers and supervisors with practical WHS advice, help keep our systems compliant with WHS legislation and ISO 9001 requirements, and champion safe behaviours across the business.
As Allweld continues to grow, this role helps us maintain a safety culture where people feel comfortable raising concerns, reporting hazards and working together to improve how we do things.
Safety built into every build
The work we do, from vehicle fit‑outs through to custom fabrication, is often used in demanding, safety‑critical environments. That’s why safety is considered from design through to delivery.
We work to ensure our fit‑outs, access points, guarding and layouts are practical, reliable and as safe as we can make them for the people using them every day.
When you partner with Allweld, you’re working with a team that understands safety‑critical environments and designs every build with the people using it, and the conditions they work in, front of mind.
